Single trip policies cover you for one specific trip you will be taking.

Annual Multi-trip cover can be the most cost-effective option if you are planning multiple trips. This will cover you for an unlimited number of trips in a 12-month period, each up to a maximum of 93 days long. Winter Sports and cruise cover are available.

Each person named on an annual multi-trip policy can travel independently of each other.

  1. This insurance is only available to residents of the UK & Channel Islands.
  2. You must have resided in the UK for no less than 6 months, have a permanent UK address and be registered with a UK General Practitioner.
  3. This insurance must be purchased prior to you leaving the UK on your planned trip.

Yes, the definition of a family is a single parent or two parents travelling together with their child or children (under 18 years) for whom they are the legal guardians and who all reside together.

An excess is the amount we would ask you to pay towards the claim costs, in the event of a claim.

IPT stands for Insurance Premium Tax, which is levied by the government on all insurance policies sold in the UK. All prices quoted on this site include IPT at the current rate.

Unfortunately not. We can only sell policies prior to your departure from the UK or Channel Islands.

Yes. A Trip within Your Home Country is only covered where you have pre-booked at least 2 night’s accommodation.  However, cover for Emergency Medical and Associated Expenses is excluded. 

If you are leaving the airport you will be covered if you include the stop-over destination.

Yes. Please read the Medical Declaration displayed when you quote online for travel insurance and answer the questions carefully. If required, you will be taken through the Medical Screening process and an additional premium may be required.

Subject to Underwriters agreement, we can extend single trip policies providing you let us know before your policy expires and at the time of requesting the extension you are not intending to make a claim. Please note, this is subject to your existing trip duration including the extended period not exceeding the maximum trip duration available. For Annual Multi trip policies, any policy adjustments must be made before you commence on your trip. You will be advised of the additional premium at the time of the request.

Unfortunately not - the definition of a couple is you and your close relative who lives with you in a domestic relationship at the same address.

In this instance please quote as individuals as opposed to couple/family.

Staff are on call 24 hours a day throughout the year. They will, when necessary, guarantee medical bills and arrange repatriation if required.  Note: You must retain receipts for medical & additional costs incurred.

Your Schedule of Insurance and policy documents are delivered to the email address you provide.

You should print a copy of your Schedule of Insurance and policy documents and carry them with you - your insurance policy will include important telephone numbers including the Medical Helpline number available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for advice, assistance, making arrangements for hospital admission, repatriation and authorisation of medical expenses.

If you are not completely satisfied with the cover provided you may return your policy to us within 14 days on receipt of your policy documents. Provided you have not travelled or made or intend to make a claim, your premium will be refunded in full.

An EHIC entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment that becomes necessary while you are in a European Economic Union (EEA) country or Switzerland, provided you are a UK or BFPO resident (please note if you reside in the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands you are not eligible for an EHIC). The EEA consists of the European Union (EU) countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The card gives access to state-provided medical treatment only. You may have to make a contribution to the cost of your care.
